location was good as it was just around the corner from the Kitchin restaurant. Breakfast was good.
we were disturbed by unsupervised children in neighbouring rooms slamming the doors left on the latch
Hotel was close to many facilities. Exactly what we were loooking for at a reasonable price.
I found the hotel to be in an ideal situation for exploring Edinburgh, due to the excellent bus service from the nearby Ocean Terminal. There was ample parking within the hotel grounds. I had previously used Holiday Inn Express in other locations, so I knew what standard to expect. Many thanks.
Hotel staff were very helpfull.
The hotel did not have a record of my booking which I had made via the Booked.net website. Due to the hotel being fully booked on that particular night it took some time to sort out but I did eventually get a room.
As usual, the service & accommodation were good and stay enjoyable
Good location with good facilities on door step. Very easy, cheap and quick access to centre of Edinburgh.
Friendlinnes and Helpfulness of staff.
We found two bugs on one bed, and the mattress is very dirty. We talked your staff about this and she said that the cleaning service was not available at that time.
Staf extremely helpful & welcoming
Breakfast a bit rudimentary
The convenient location to the city w/o having to stay in the city, the plentiful, free parking, the great location, the great breakfast, the very pleasant, cheerful staff, and the simple, very clean, decor of the hotel.
The Friendly staff, who were only to happy to help. Plus the location of the Hotel, it will be an asset when the area renewal has been finished.
Only continental Breakfast.
Friendliness of staff, breakfast, cleanliness if rooms and easy access to the city of Edinburgh. The area around the hotel has improved since last stay and can only get better through time.
Convenient and better priced than a lot of Edinburgh Hotels now.
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express at Edinburgh Waterfront for two nights and were extremely impressed with it. The room was spacious and practical. The breakfast made up in generosity what it lacked in variety. The location was great - close enough to the centre of the city but far enough removed to allow free parking and close to the shopping facilities of Ocean Terminal. The staff were fantastic (especially the young lady with dark hair and glasses - a great asset to the hotel as she was so friendly, efficient, considerate and helpful) - all in all, we had a very positive experience.
Staff were all friendly , polite and accommodating. The breakfast was very good, much better than other budget hotels.
